Brainstorming to Lateral Thinking, Sensory Experience

Creativity and innovation as very important elements in entrepreneurship journey, the ability to solve complex problem and finding ‘Gap’ opportunities in the market.

When we are activating Learning by Doing mindset, every part of the brain through the 5 senses are activated. Sensory – Auditory – Visual – Motor – Frontal – interlinked everytime we memorise, dream, and reflect through our thinking, feeling, and action.

To accomplished with limited resources. See things from multiple perspectives: Convergent and Divergent thinking into Lateral Thinking, we can achieve anything we want in less time and effort.

Lateral Thinking is neither vertical (logical, analytical, compliant) nor horizontal (day-dream, directionless). Instead, lateral thinking is to change the direction of thinking, to look at things from different perspective or permit yourself to reinvent what you see in fresh, original, humorous ways. (A lot of surprises)

The ability to focus and attention, self-expression with prefrontal cortex:

  1. Neocortex: Rational or Thinking Brain (think long-term)
  2. Limbic Brain: Emotional or Feeling, Amygdala included
  3. Reptilian (Mammal): Instinct or Dinosaur, Founds in animals / mammals, short-term rewards

Intelligent Concentration in Learning Business Awareness

The brain of individuals with wide-ranging experience function on autopilot. Highly intelligent people do not need to work as intensely as less intelligent people, because those less intelligent or less experience can see the event outcomes / results / reactions from their actions. This is beneficial in business but not in sports, for example those who think they are the expert in something because they have done it many times, are more likely to miss the detailed change that can happen anytime. It is very important to pay attention.

Leaders who expect their team to be intelligently proficient, to be able to manage the tasks effectively, should stop periodically and think peripheral view from different angles. “Is there a better way to do what we have been done?” and “Is there anything missing that can be improved?” Leaders should welcome external inputs from industry research or outsider guest to let the team get a new perspective to foster innovation and awareness of new ways / methods.

For brain evolving to the higher level, we need to increase growth factor called Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), canonical nerve growth factor by:

  1. Deep Sleep
  2. Exercises (Most important for Hippocampus
  3. Meditation (Nose breathing and awareness)
  4. Listening to Music (Emotional State)

Focus Thinking and Peripheral View

I. Subconscious Mind, Awakening, and Curiosity

When something becomes subconscious, we can use it to affect our physical reality. Napoleon Hill said, “The subconscious mind will translate into its physical equivalent, by the most direct and practical method available.”

II. Alpha State, Subconscious Minds and Awakening, Conscious Minds

The repetitive state of a desired goal, what we are trying to accomplish, visualisation is key because we want to have  emotional experience. Journaling every experiences to put ideas into tangible reality. Sleep to access the subconscious mind. For example: when we are listening to music, it is not only auditory experience, but also every part of the brain is connected.

III. Creativity and Intelligence of Complex Problem Solving

To become a powerful creative thinker, extremely intelligent. We can become more productive and prolific. These are the secrets to develop expertise in difficult areas. 3.

Creative Stimulation to Real-World Experience

Creativity is all about making connections — and by experiencing a lot of activities and emotions at once, the ideas from each experience begin to cross-pollinate and blend into each other, thus becoming a web of unique connections (ideas universe!)

Each time we think to a particular activity, the brain is forced to remember what the journey was about, sensory feeling from 5 senses, and the specific concepts/insights/philosophies being learned — which deepens our memory and the impact of each individual activity.

We see the ideas in diverse environments and apply the ideas in different ways — from thinking/writing/designing conversations with my brain to STIMULATING Real-World Experience, EXPANDING the universe, and TRANSFER the knowledges to others.
